
Imran Nazir is a right handed opening batsman of Pakistan. He entre international cricket against Sri Lank in Lahore and soon become famous because of his dashing batting abilities. He played several memorable innings one of them was in the World Cup 2007 against Zimbabwe where he scored 160 runs in the last match of the tournament. He is in and out of the national cricket team on consistent basis. In 2008 Imran signed an agreement with Indian Cricket League and played in Lahore Badshahs. Imran Nazir in ICL gave a good batting performance and Lahore Badshahs reached into the final of the tournament. The final was on the basis of best of three and in the third and final match he scored 111 runs on 44 balls against Hyderabad Heroes and helped Lahore Badshahs to won the tournament and lift the trophy. He faced severe criticism along with other Pakistani players for playing Lahore Badshahs in ICL and in reaction banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board for playing cricket for Pakistan but in 2009 court disabled their suspensions and they are able to play for Pakistan after that court ruling. After that he played against Sri Lank in the home series of 2009, against New Zealand in Dubai and for T20 in Australia but did not come up with strong performances and dropped by the Pakistan cricket board.
Imran Nazir made 111 runs on 44 balls with the help of 11 sixes and 7 boundaries in the 3rd final of ICL playing for Lahore Badshahs against Hyderabad Heroes.
