Imran Nazir is a right handed opening batsman and Pakistani cricketer. He is known for his excellent stroke making ability for scoring runs at rapid pace. He first appeared in international level for Pakistan in 1999 and after that he played for several periods but never got permanent place in Pakistani cricket team. The reasons of not getting permanent position were his inconsistent performance and different combinations that had been tried by Pakistani cricket board in order to find perfect opening pair for Pakistani cricket team. He was famous in viewers for his ability of hitting sixes. In his career he played several memorable innings.
In this innings Imran hit 11 sixes and made 111 runs on 44 balls in the 3rd final if ICL against Hyderabad Heroes.
Imran Nazir scores 160 runs on 121 balls against Zimbabwe in ICC World Cup 2007. In that innings he hit 8 sixes and 14 boundaries to help Pakistan to mount a total of 349 runs in 50 over’s. In total 51 sixes in international cricket from which he hit 32 sixes in One Day Internationals and 19 sixes in T20 matches.
